Keurig 2.0 Brewing System

"The new Keurig® 2.0 system features Keurig 2.0 Brewing Technology™ which reads each lid to deliver a perfect beverage every time. This ensures that the Keurig® 2.0 system delivers on the promise of excellent quality beverages, produced simply and consistently, using the best Keurig® brewer technology and new features like strength control."

I'm a few weeks into using my new Keurig® 2.0 K550 Brewing System and I really really like it. Like, but not love. There are a few issues I just can't seem to get passed with this model.
- Strength Control
- Customizable User Interface
- Hot Water on Demand
- Carafe Brewing

- Limited Coffee Selection
- Noisy When Operating
- Cam Only Use Registered K-Cups
- Hot Water Option Only Does 6oz at a Time
- Hor Water Requires Holding The Button Down

If you're familiar with the Keurig brand, then you know that their machines are really the top of the line. Quick and convenient coffee. This new model offers what the previous models did not, which is the carafe option. I think this particular model would be perfectly suited for offices and/or people who frequently find themselves brewing multiple batches of coffee.

If you're like me and have a huge selection of K-Cups, you may want to keep your previous Keurig model until you run out. I was disappointed to find out that some of my K-Cups will not work with this new model. I just assumed a K-Cup was a K-Cup. Very frustrating!

BakeitFun Silicone Baking Mat Review

I received a BakeItFun Silicone Baking Mat to review and I have to say that this isn't the first time I've used a baking mat. Me and Silpat go way back! First things first, if you're unfamiliar with silicone baking mats, think about not having to use butter or oil when you're baking your cookies. You're getting healthier just buy purchasing a baking mat! If you're someone who is constantly having to scrape cookies out of a cookie sheet because they have all stuck to the pan, then you really need one of these. Also, no more buying rolls of parchment paper. Just toss your BakeItFun into the dishwasher and get ready to use it over and over again. No more stuck cookies!

If you've been in the market for a silicone baking mat, let me give you a little comparison. BakeItFun is $14.78 and the Silpat (comparable in size) is $16.72. I honestly don't think that one works better than the other in terms of functionality, but price is usually what sways me. And if I can a few bucks, I'm going to go with the cheaper option!

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
